Sleeping up to 4 people Rating: 3 Star Lenno lies 8 km under Menaggio and 15 km. above Como. This part of the lake defines itself by the many villas with beautiful parks which are open to the public. Lenno has a small but cosy boulevard with terraces at the water. Boat trips with wing boats leave to several tourist attractions of the Como lake. In the near vicinity there are a few small pebble beaches. The back land is hilly and overgrown with olive trees. Casa Profumo di Rose owns its name to the many roses which brighten up the garden and the terraces. This large, with care renovated and first class kept house consists of 5 apartments of which one is occupied by the owner. The 4-5 pers. house (IT-22016-04) and one of the three 2-4 pers. houses (IT-22016-06) are situated on the ground floor and accessible via some steps. The houses on the first floor (IT-22016-05/IT-22016-07) have a beautiful view at the lake and the mountains. They all have a large terrace supplied with garden furniture. Sleeping up to 4 people Rating: 3 Star Casa Ambra is peacefully situated on a quiet road just 50 m. uphill from the main street and thanks to its elevated position has lovely views ove Lake Como. The detached house comprises of 3 storeys, Your accommodation is in the atttic, (sloping ceilings). The very spacious (100 m²)accommodation is attractive with wooden beams and woodwork. There is adequate cupboard space, the rear of the bathroom is rather cramped owning to low ceilings. Sleeping up to 4 people Rating: 1 Star Holiday apartment, simple but charming, in Domaso, 600 metres (as the crow flies) from the shores of Lake Como. The apartment is on the ground floor of a duplex house (the owner lives on the upper floor) and measures 40 m². It has its own terrace by the entrance.
It is ideal for 2 people (but can accommodate up to 4) and is an excellent base for visiting Lake Como.
There is a pizzeria 200 metres from the house and in the pleasant centre of Domaso, 4 km away, there are more shops and restaurants.
Things to see in Domaso: the church of S. Bartolomeo (1247) and Villa Camilla. If you like a more active holiday you can choose from kite surfing, wind surfing, sailing, water skiing, canoeing, trekking & mountain bike and horse-riding.

Sleeping up to 4 people Rating: 2 Star Rezzonico is a small village just 7 km to the north of Menaggio that is well known for it s many staircases leading down to the lake and beautiful glimpses of its characteristic castle. Cassa Rossella is situated in Gallio, a small mountain village situated 3 km above Rezzonico.The beautiful, restored property is located on the ground floor of this three storey house. The entrance and the bathroom are located on the ground floor on the lake side of the property and the other part of the accomodation is located on the 1st floor, this being the ground floor on the mountainside of the house. To the rear of the accommodation is a stone terrace, shadowy and without a view but very peaceful with wooden garden furniture and a barbeque. The living room is spacious and light and has beautiful views over the lake and surrounding mountains. There are several public parking spaces near the house where you have to walk a few metres over an uphill gravel pathway. In short: a property suited to active people looking for peace and quiet. Small dogs are admitted (dogs must measure no more than 40 cm from the withers).
The owner reserves the right to demand a surplus cleaning charge from those caught breaking the rules. Offenders may even be asked to vacate the premises.

Sleeping up to 4 people Rating: 3 Star Casa Olivo lies at the edge of the village Mastena, a few kilometres rom Rezzonico. This town is known for it beautiful gradual streets which offer nice vistas and for its little castle. The house owes its name to the olive tree in front of the house and consists of two floors, of which we rent half of the house below. The house is simple but of a good standard furnished with a new open kitchen. From the living room and the furnished balcony, which covers the entire front side, you have a beautiful view at the lake. The balcony is a bit small, but that is made up by the opening doors which are a few metres wide, through which the living room flows into the balcony. In front of the house you can unload and load you luggage, but you need to park a dozen metres further. Complete details .... | |

Sleeping up to 4 people Rating: 2 Star Musignano is a quiet carless mountain village situated at 800 m. above Maccagno near Lake Maggoire. 4 km higher up you wil find Lago Delio which is a storage reservoir surrounded by pine groves where there are beautiful hiking possibilities as well as shooting play pigeons, picknicking, and specialized food. It is a well renovated, modernly furnished property of which you will occupy the elevated ground floor and the owner the top floor in the months end July-August. There is a small terrace (3-persons) and the communal garden with barbeque and chairs at your disposal which is situated aigainst the mountain and is unsuitable for small children due to the stairs. The property and the terrace do not offer a view over the lake, but if you go up one or two steps into the garden, you can enjoy the beautiful panorama. A simple and well kept property for sportive people who enjoy hiking and taking mountain trips or would like to go to music festivals in the Swiss cities. Complete details .... | |

Sleeping up to 4 people Rating: 3 Star Casa Elena is located 20 km north of Menaggio in a quiet villa quarter of Gera Lario at a dead end road along the lake. The home consists of three floors, of which the owner occupies the upper two and you dispose of the apartment on the ground floor with an apartment facing south with garden furniture and a spacious garden of which the gate can be closed so the children can play safely. Here, you will also find a barbequing corner with a table and benches made of nature stone. From the garden, you can reach the tavern with a large dining table and where you have a fire place, a kitchen corner and a toilet at your disposal. Here, you can grill or sit cosily besides the fire should the weather be bad. The home is not very spacious (30m2), but is very modernly and cosily furnished with a lot of light. In addition, the terrace has an awning, so you will be sitting outside a lot. From the home and the terrace, you have a view over the lane with trees along the lake. In between the road and the lake, there is a park with lots of lovely shady spots; here, you will also find pebble beaches and a mountain creek. At a mere 50 metres from the home, there is a beautiful harbour with recreational boats and a newspaper stand with a cosy terrace by the lake that leads to Sorico. You can park your car in the enclosed garden or, for an additional fee, in the garage. There are 2 mountain bikes, a bicycle with side wheels and a children's bike (for children from 6-7 years old) at your disposal. Complete details .... | |

Sleeping up to 4 people Rating: 2 Star Rezzonico is situated 7 km north of Menaggio. It is a small village, without any cars, a castle and romantic step alleys which lead to the lake and offer nice views. Il Girasole is situated above the main road along the village and has a voew of the castle, the lake and the mountains. Your property is on the ground floor of the mountain side and on the first floor of the lake side. The furnishing is cosy and well kept. The balcony on the front side of the property crosses over into a very spacious and sunny terrace on the side, wher you can sit in the shade thanks to a sun screen, but also allows sunbathing and a beautiful view. You can reach the property via a small dirt road. There is a parking space near the property, but you can also leave your car in the public parking lot at about 50 m away if you do not wish to back up your car from the house.
