Sleeping up to 4 people Rating: 3 Star This apartment has a spacious private garden and splendid views. It is in a holiday complex on Lake Lugano. The apartment is around 40 m2 and on the ground floor of a luxurious holiday complex. The complex is in Porlezza on the north side of Lake Lugano.
Being only 50 m from the lake, the apartment enjoys a wonderful view. The garden is separated from the lake by only the lawn and beach.
The two bedroom apartment is comfortably furnished. The spacious 250m garden is for your own private use. The holiday complex, with several buildings with apartments, has all facilities. These include a large shared swimming pool, beach, children?s playground, lounge café, restaurant, small shops, internet café, maze and a large park. Porlezza is within walking distance and has an attractive boulevard. The surrounding area is well worth discovering, its positioning between Lake Maggiore and Lake Como offers something for everyone. Lake Como is around 12km away, the City of Lugano is 20km and Milan around 95km. This holiday home is perfect for a relaxed stay at Lake Lugano and has an unforgettable view.

Sleeping up to 4 people Rating: 3 Star Chalet Pina is 10 km west of Menaggio. It is 1300 meters high between Lake Lugano (30 min away) and Lake Como (40 min away). You reach the holiday home via a narrow, steep mountain road. The road is only suitable for adventurous drivers. The apartment is on the first floor and has a welcoming atmosphere. It is furnished with antiques. A small bridge takes you to an Alpine pasture where the children will enjoy playing. You can admire the wonderful views. A naturally formed swimming pool is 100 meters away. Parking is 50 meters away.

Sleeping up to 4 people Rating: 2 Star This charming holiday home is built on the Northwest bank of Lake Como, in the town of Consiglio di Rumo. It was built recently and is made up of several apartments. This apartment is on the ground floor (80 m², on one level or on different levels), and have a view over the mountains, the lake or the village. In the living room of this apartment there is a narrow spiral staircase which leads down to a basement where you also find two beds.
The lake is 650 meters away (as the crow flies) or 1 km away (if you follow the road). The setting is peaceful yet there are still various amenities on offer - shops, bars and restaurants, either in the village itself or in nearby Gravedona (1.5 km away).
You can practice various sporting and non-sporting activities close by: windsurfing, sailing, boat rentals, trekking, golf.
Gravedona is only a stones throw away and is an important Lake Como tourist and art centre: beaches, tourist ports and numerous artistic treasures.
The holiday home is also in the perfect base for visiting the rest of Lake Como, Lake Lugano, for shopping in nearby Switzerland (30 km away, where tobacco and petrol cost considerably less), or for a day of haute couture shopping in Milan (1 hour away). Insiders tip: park your car in Como and hop on the train to Milan, to avoid parking difficulties.

Sleeping up to 4 people Rating: 2 Star Centrally situated in Porlezza (Lugano Lake), within 500m from the lake, a simple but lovely apartment (85 m2, 1st floor) in a cottage (where you will find a total of 2 apartments). There are among other things a garage and little garden. Within a short distance (approx. 500m) is the centre of this lovely tourist town with various shops, a romantic promenade "lungolago", bars, restaurants, disco's etc. In the surrounding are 2 campsites, where the swimming pool, and playground can be used and other facilities (price can be arranged at the place at the reception). Lovely surrounding, but even the rest of the area is interesting: Lugano within 16 km distance, Menaggio (along the closely situated Como Lake) within 11 km, Milan within 90 km.
The border with Zwitserland is within only 9 km. Tip: Here the petrol and tobacco is much cheaper than in Italy.

Sleeping up to 4 people Rating: 3 Star Casa Canale is situated 10 km north of Menaggio, a few hairpin curves above the little town of Cremia, where you will find a few beaches and some fine restaurants directly at the water. This semi-detached accommodation has been restored with care. The residential part is on the ground floor, but via an outdoor staircase you can reach the cosy tavern, which the Italians use as a cool spot in the summer and which is very suitable for use as a playroom and lounge. The beautiful garden with pergola and baby bath (4,50x2,60x1,00m) enjoys a calm location and offers a spectacular view over Lake Como and the surrounding Alps. A motor boat is available at an additional cost (25 euro/hour). You can park your car at some ten metres away and you can reach the home via an unpaved footpath.

The home is situated in a quiet villa quarter at a kilometre from Lake Como. Casa Rosanna is a spacious villa, of which you occupy the elevated ground floor, while the owner resides in the basement. On two sides, there is a beautiful roofed balcony with garden furniture that passes into the lovely garden with swimming pool and barbeque. Thanks to its elevated position against the sloping hillside, you can enjoy a splendid view over the Alps and Lake Novate.
