Sleeping up to 2 people Rating: 4 Star Tenuta di Capocontro is an ancient hamlet. It is in the heart of the green Tuscan hills, surrounded by woods and olive trees. The hamlet is 550 metres above sea level and a few kilometres from the town of Civitella in Val de Chiana. It has a farm, an old mill, a small church and some rustic houses and stables. The main part of the hamlet was built in the Middle Ages. There are 250 hectares of land around the hamlet and 80 km of walking paths. Tenuta di Capocontro produces wine and olive oil. It is the perfect place to enjoy the Tuscan landscape. You can also relax by the swimming pool. Five houses, IT-52040-13 and IT-52040-14, have been converted into guest accommodations. Each house has a private terrace. The swimming pool is for shared use. The houses are furnished in a rustic Tuscan style. You can enjoy interesting day trips to Perugia, Cortona, Florence, Siena, Arezzo and Lake Trasimee. The friendly owners live in the main building of the hamlet. Sleeping up to 2 people Rating: 3 Star A pleasant apartment in a very favoured location in Florence. It is tastefully arranged, with various items of period furniture amongst other things.
The apartment is in one of the streets leading to the very famous Duomo Square which is only a hundred metres away. In Duomo square you can see the cathedral, climb up into its dome for an extremely beautiful view of Florence and admire the Giotto tower, etc. Florence abounds in works of art! And the location of the accommodation means that you can reach places of interest easily: the Uffizi Museum, Ponte Vecchio, San Lorenzo market and Pitti Palace.
There are a number of shops in the same street as the apartment, and it is served by several bus routes (useful for getting to the train station, for example).

Sleeping up to 2 people Rating: 3 Star This apartment (45m2, first floor) is located in a typically Tuscan agriturismo in the area of Vinci. The agriturismo (6 different apartments in total) also offers a cosy garden with barbecue and a swimming pool, with a view of the hilly landscape.
Vinci is, of course, also the birthplace of Leonardo da Vinci, so you can visit the house where he was born as well as the Leonardo Museum in the castle. The magical landscape is still like Leonardos paintings and is very much worthy of them.

This studio flat features a large skylight, an "artists" window on the side of the building that looks on to Via Ricasoli, just a few metres from the museum housing the world-famous statue of David by Michelangelo. Positioned close to the Duomo, the Piazza della Signoria, the Uffizi Gallery and Florences famous Ponte Vecchio Bridge.
Many other destinations in the surrounding area are well worth a visit. These include: Fiesole (5 km), Siena (60 km), San Gimignano (50 km), Volterra (65 km), Pisa (80 km) and Lucca (85 km). Casa Cipriani is a wonderful antique (1801) restored house which lies at 500 m. distance from the village S. Quirrico di Vernio. Because the house is surrounded by beautiful valleys, it offers a dazzling view. The house is divided into two floors. On the ground floor you will find a living room with dining area. The warm colours of the interior provides with a pleasant feeling through which you will feel right at home here. On the first floor you will find a bedroom with a double bed and a bathroom with shower. You have access to a communal panoramic swimming pool overlooking the valley.
