This medieval castle in Umbria dates from the 13th century. The castle has six holiday accommodations. They all have an authentic, rustic style and a unique atmosphere. The small Church of San Bartolomeo is in the complex. It has wonderful frescos from the 16th and 17th Centuries. The castle is ideal for those who are interested in history and culture as well as a relaxing holiday.

This vacation appartement ("Belvedere") is situated at the 3th floor of the big tower and offers a splendit sight over the hills.

The owner and his family live in the complex. They are happy to provide helpful tips about the surrounding area and help make your holiday even more enjoyable.

The holiday accommodations are in a central location in Umbria. Many interesting destinations are within easy reach. These include Gualdo Cattaneo, Foligno, Spoleto, Todi, Perugia and Lake Trasimeno. Tuscany is 70 km away. Rome is 130 km away.

Due to the interior, the accomodation is not specially suitable for young children.

Agritourisme Martis is located a few kilometres away from Lake Trasimeno in a beautiful environment in the midst of the countryside. Apartment Giulio Cesare is one of the 4 apartments and is very tastefully furnished. The apartment has a spacious terrace with beautiful wooden garden furniture and there is a communal garden with olive trees, lavender and flowers, as well as a wonderful large swimming pool. The agritourism locale has sheep and cheese and ricotta are made from the milk. Naturally, you can have a look at this undertaking. This region offers everything, including visits to medieval towers and churches, walking, cycling, visiting beautiful towns such as Perugia and Cortona, a relaxing day at the pool or swimming in Lake Trasimeno.
The interior of the accommodation can differ slightly from the pictures. However, the level of comfort is as described.

Recently renovated appartement in a mediaeval stronghold. One of the 2 bedrooms is in the tower. This historical accommodation is very close to Perugia and is an ideal starting-point to visit the cities Gubbio, Assisi, Spoleto and Todi. In the neighbouring village there are enough facilities (shops, market etc. The town of Perugia (11 km.) is full of extended possibilities: monuments, museums, a municipal swimming-pool etc.
Upon request(and not included): extra bed, cot and high-chair.

Attractive apartment built in stone and measuring 70 m, located in central Montecchio. The apartment is located within a building dating back to 1200 and has undergone meticulous restoration work. The thick walls of the apartment emanate a bygone charm, like the houses of yesteryear. The beautiful beams in each room, the traditional Italian terracotta flooring and the generous sized chimney in the living room all add to the apartment?s warmth and comfort. Montecchio is a medieval town that has been wonderfully preserved, with an old town dating back to 1200. Apart from its monuments and attractive centre, Montecchio offers visitors exceptional cuisine and optimum DOP olive oil! The location is half way between Orvieto, the Etruscan city famous for its Cathedral and Todi, another delightful town. Rome, located approximately 115 km away, is also within reach for a pleasant day-trip!

The Villa Osvalda Farmhouse Complex is an old working farm. It dates from 1684 and is around 800 metres from the village of Villastrada. The villa has a large, attractive, shared garden with a swimming pool and barbecue. You can enjoy splendid views of the surrounding valley from the pool. There are 14 apartments, all well kept and pleasantly furnished. Wine, olive oil and honey are produced in the 30 hectares of grounds. The produce can be bought.

The holiday home is just ten kilometres from the historic city of Assisi and is reached by a narrow, winding road. The country estate has 240 hectares of enclosed grounds with roaming deer and grazing horses. It is highly recommended for those who want to escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Also for those who wish to spend a relaxing holiday in the heart of the countryside. The country estate has a luxury restaurant and a riding school. The holiday homes are a few kilometres from the reception area and the restaurant. You can enjoy excellent walks here. You can also relax by the swimming pool and admire the superb panoramic views.

Badia is an excellent base for visiting fascinating places such as Montepulciano, Cortona, Arezzo, Pienza, Siena, Perugia, Orvieto and Assisi.
The holiday complex consists of 4 houses. They have been restored with great care and are tastefully furnished by the owners. Antico Casale is a house with 5 apartments, IT-06061-02, IT-06061-03 and IT-06061-15. It is surrounded by a large garden of 5000 m2. The garden enjoys splendid views of the Umbrian landscape. There is a delightful swimming pool. Each apartment has its own small terrace with garden chairs. The swimming pool and BBQ are for shared use.
There is a communal room in the house with a computer, internet connection and tourist information about the area. There is even a guitar for when you feel like providing some music.
La Viletta, IT-06061-14, is next to Antico Casale and has a private garden with large fruit trees. The guests at La Viletta can use the communal swimming pool at Antico Casale. This pleasant accomodation (on the ground floor, 50-60 m2) is situated within a short distance from the Trasimeno lake, in the green region Umbria (close to Magione). It belongs to an "agriturismo" (sort of farm-countryhouse, with 4 appartements) and is cosy. The location is ideal to discover the lake and its surroundings (beaches, harbours, etc.). Furthermore, it is a central starting point to visit Umbria and Tuscany. You will find the lake within approx. 8 km, Perugia within 18 km, Cortona within 29 km, Arezzo within 58km.

Your apartment can be a little bit different to that on the photos: each apartment is different, yet the style is the same.
